The Morning Mood is popularly known as just  "Morning".

It's a composition belonging to Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt op.23.

It was composed in 1875 as incidental music to Ibsen's play of the same name.

The melody/tune in the piece is alternating flute and oboe.

The piece depicts the rising of the sun.
